Meet Rory

A Forest Park neighbor who gets results

Rory Hoskins has called Forest Park home since 1999. He coached youth soccer, served on the Traffic and Safety Commission, and in 2007 became the first African American elected to public office in the village. In 2019, Forest Park elected him mayor.

As mayor he has put cameras and patrols where they matter, brought new restaurants and shops to Madison Street, won state help with Blue Line costs, and made sure every neighbor feels welcome. He is an attorney and a social worker by training, and a husband, father and grandfather at home.
